Mentally, I feel very good. I like to check, always be early. It&rsquo;s a lesson for a lot of people. But I also did a cognitive exam. And I had a perfect score. One of the doctors said he&rsquo;s never seen a perfect score,&rdquo; he said Thursday in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n<p>Trump&rsquo;s physician, Capt. Sean Barbabella wrote in April that after conducting a comprehensive diagnostic, laboratory testing, consultations with 14 specialty consultants, the president demonstrated no abnormalities aside from minor sun damage, recommending a colonoscopy in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,&rdquo; Barbabella wrote at the time.<\/p>\n<p>But in July, White House press secretary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/karoline-leavitt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Karoline Leavitt<\/a> told reporters that Trump had been diagnosed with a &ldquo;benign and common&rdquo; vein condition known as chronic venous insufficiency after experiencing swelling in his legs. Reading a separate memo from Barbabella, Leavitt said Trump had no symptoms of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease.<\/p>\n<p>Of bruising that has become evident on Trump&rsquo;s hand, Barbabella wrote: &ldquo;This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-announces-trump-has-been-diagnosed-with-chronic-venous-insufficiency\/\" title=\"... Has Been Diagnosed with ...\">standard cardiovascular prevention regimen<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Leavitt similarly announced Trump&rsquo;s travel to the medical facility on Wednesday, telling reporters the president would attend &ldquo;a planned meeting&rdquo; and speak with troops. The White House has not provided a readout of his meeting or remarks.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;While there, President Trump will stop by for his routine yearly check up,&rdquo; Leavitt wrote. &ldquo;He will then return to the White House.
