A New Jersey man named Louis Geri was arrested in Washington, D.C., near St.Matthew’s cathedral after police found over 200 fully functional grenades in his tent, backpack, and pockets. Geri, who appeared homeless, was detained hours before the annual Red Mass ceremony marking the Supreme court’s fall term<\/a>. Authorities reported that he threatened officers with the explosives and planned to detonate them remotely using modified bottle rockets.
