National FOP President Patrick Yoes said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Let me be clear, both the National FOP and the Illinois FOP believe that when an officer calls for assistance, you answer, no matter what,&rdquo; to help out officers in trouble &mdash; sets a dangerous precedent.<\/p>\n<p>Chicago police have since said they showed up to document what was taking place.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To clarify misinformation currently circulating, CPD officers did in fact respond to the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >shooting scene involving federal authorities<\/a> on Saturday to maintain public safety and traffic control,&rdquo;
