This order temporarily blocks a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/scotus-to-hear-appeal-over-ky-abortion-law\/\" title=\"SCOTUS to hear appeal over Ky. abortion law\">lower court ruling<\/a> that had challenged the termination of TPS for these migrants. The Trump administration has sought to end TPS protections for a total of 1.1 million immigrants, including Venezuelans and Haitians, which had been extended under the Biden administration.TPS,granted in 18-month increments by the Department of Homeland Security,protects eligible individuals from deportation due to unsafe conditions in their home countries. The designation can be granted by the Homeland Security secretary.<\/p>\n<p>Chen found that the Department of Homeland Security acted &ldquo;with unprecedented haste and in an unprecedented manner &hellip; for the preordained purpose of expediting termination of Venezuela&rsquo;s TPS&rdquo; status.<\/p>\n<p>In earlier denying the Trump administration&rsquo;s emergency appeal, Judge Kim Wardlaw wrote for a unanimous three<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/supreme-court-issues-major-ruling-on-trump-immunity-case\/\" title=\"... Issues Major Ruling on Trump Immunity Case\">-judge appellate panel<\/a> that Chen determined that DHS made its &ldquo;decisions first and searched for a valid basis for those decisions second.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Solicitor General D.
