Fulton county District Attorney Fani Willis is scheduled to testify before Georgia’s Special Senate Committee on Investigations in November, according to the committee chairman. Willis was subpoenaed to discuss her prosecution of former President donald Trump and others in a case alleging election fraud<\/a>. Although she tried to block the subpoena in court,she was unsuccessful. The hearing is set for November 13, with Willis’s counsel agreeing to appear under certain conditions regarding the scope and format of questioning. Additionally, Willis was recently disqualified from handling the election interference case<\/a> due<\/a> to a conflict of interest involving her relationship with the lead prosecutor. The Georgia Supreme court rejected her appeal against this disqualification, and a conflict prosecutor will be appointed to the case.
