Two Delta Air Lines regional jets, operated by Endeavor Air, collided at LaGuardia Airport in new York City shortly before 10 p.m. EST. The incident involved Endeavor Flight 5155, preparing to depart for Roanoke, Virginia, and Flight 5047, arriving from Charlotte, North Carolina. During a low-speed taxiway collision, the wing of Flight 5155 struck the fuselage of Flight 5047, reportedly causing<\/a> the wing to detach.<\/p>\n

Flight 5155 had 28 passengers and four crew members on board, while Flight 5047 carried 57 passengers and four crew members.Reports on injuries were conflicting but generally indicated only minor injuries. One flight attendant was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital, and one passenger was reported injured by some sources. Passengers were safely evacuated and escorted to the terminal.<\/p>\n
