The ADL explained that many entries had become outdated and were increasingly being misrepresented or misused. They indicated that the decision allows them to focus on developing more thorough and innovative resources to address antisemitism, extremism, and hate more effectively.<\/p>\n<p>The retirement came quietly, without direct acknowledgement that conservative figure Charlie Kirk was listed in the glossary. While the glossary page now redirects to the ADL homepage,the association still maintains a separate page targeting Kirk and his group,Turning Point USA,portraying them negatively and linking them to controversial associations.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie Kirk was tragically assassinated while peacefully engaging with students,and critics argue that the ADL&#8217;s labeling of him as an extremist contributed to creating a unfriendly surroundings against him. We also saw a number of entries intentionally misrepresented and misused.
