Bowyer explained that while TPUSA&#8217;s security team is responsible for close protection of Kirk, the campus police were in charge of securing the broader venue, including rooftops and perimeters. He criticized the campus police for not implementing drone monitoring, a tactic he believes should be standard practice on all campuses to prevent such incidents. Bowyer emphasized that the security team cared deeply for Kirk and would have done everything possible to protect him. In this case, on university campuses, it&rsquo;s the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/supreme-court-rules-in-favor-of-student-punished-for-religious-speech\/\" title=\"Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Student Punished for Religious Speech\">university police<\/a>,&rdquo; Bowyer told <a href=\"https:\/\/tpusa.com\/shows\/culture-apothecary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Culture Apothecary<\/a> podcast host Alex Clark in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LYCoEYZtOvs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">episode<\/a> published last week.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that there is a line drawn between the responsibility that TPUSA&rsquo;s security team has in protecting Kirk and the job that the campus police has in protecting the overall event itself.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In this case, for Utah Valley University, their responsibility was to protect the campus, all of the perimeter, rooftops, everything else. We hope that everybody is praying for them, because they&rsquo;re being unfairly targeted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/facebook-executives-admit-meddling-with-election-backing-biden\/\" title=\"Facebook executives admit meddling with election, backing Biden\">people online<\/a> who are making suggestions,&rdquo; Bowyer said.<\/p>\n<p>The COO acknowledged that there are lessons that must be taken from Kirk&rsquo;s assassination.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;A really competent drone program, for example, would have saved Charlie&rsquo;s life. That should be the standard protocol on every single campus. Without question, there should be eyes on every rooftop at all times,&rdquo; Bowyer said.<\/p>\n<p>He predicted that this and other failures leading to Kirk&rsquo;s death will come out at the trial of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/black-hood-little-paper-white-target-heart-tyler-robinsons-execution-utah-may-go-found-guilty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shooter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Several responded to a video Bowyer posted on social media from the interview, regarding the security breakdown that led to Kirk&rsquo;s death.<\/p>\n<p>One commented, &ldquo;just wondering why there wasn&rsquo;t a drone flying and looking at those rooftops and windows.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve addressed this. TPUSA&rsquo;s security team obviously would not have the personnel to physically secure all rooftops with a line of sight on Kirk.
