A shooting and fire occurred at the Church of Latter-day saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan, resulting in at least one death and multiple injuries. The 40-year-old gunman drove into the church during a service attended by hundreds,opened fire,and then died following a police confrontation. The church building caught fire<\/a>, which police believe was deliberately set by the shooter. Authorities expect to find more victims inside the blaze-contained church. Over 100 federal agents, including FBI and ATF, have been dispatched to assist local law enforcement<\/a>. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and national figures condemned the attack, calling it a tragic and unacceptable act of violence at a place of worship. Police have urged the public to avoid the area, with reunification sites established.This incident follows shortly after the recent death of the LDS Church president, Russell M.
