The article reports that Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs, intends to ask former President Donald Trump to approve the execution of Nidal Hasan, the Army psychiatrist who carried out the 2009 Fort Hood mass shooting, killing 14 and injuring many others.
