\t\t\t\t}); \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Chastain plays Jodi Goodwin, a fictional veteran employed by the Anti-Hate Alliance, who goes undercover in online hate groups to prevent domestic terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>The show depicts mostly white men who are &ldquo;fueled by hate, bigotry, xenophobia and misogyny&rdquo; and &ldquo;talk cruelly and candidly online about enacting harm and violence,&rdquo; Variety reported.<\/p>\n<p>Variety TV critic Aramide Tinubu, who said she had previewed the show to write a review, claimed that the series is &ldquo;a straightforward, non-controversial character study&rdquo; and &ldquo;precisely the type of show America needs right now.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>But audiences haven&rsquo;t gotten to see it yet, and Apple offered no date for when they will.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer alone had already been panned online for being out of touch with reality.<\/p>\n<p>And reality has been much different from what the show&rsquo;s creator, Melissa James Gibson, apparently wanted to highlight.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Savant &mdash;
