All of those struck in the attack were detainees, and the alleged shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to law enforcement.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-41485890\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>While an investigation into the matter remains ongoing, early findings appear to indicate yet another instance of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nadales-i-used-to-be-antifa\/\" title=\"Nadales: I Used To Be Antifa\">left-wing political violence<\/a>. Hours after the shooting, FBI Director Kash Patel <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FBIDirectorKash\/status\/1970877754221498599\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released<\/a> an image of several unspent bullet casings seemingly belonging to the suspect, one of which is engraved with the phrase, &ldquo;ANTI ICE.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These despicable, politically motivated attacks against law enforcement are not a one-off. We are only miles from Prarieland, Texas where just two months ago an individual ambushed a separate ICE facility targeting their officers,&rdquo; Patel wrote in an accompanying statement on X. &ldquo;It has to end and the FBI and our partners will lead these investigative efforts to see to it that those who target our law enforcement are pursued and brought to the fullest extent of justice.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred nearly two weeks after Charlie Kirk was assassinated, allegedly at the hands of a pro-trans leftist, while the former was speaking to students at a Utah-based university. During his opening monologue days after the horrific slaughter, Kimmel attempted to downplay the egregious act of political violence by suggesting the assassin was &ldquo;MAGA.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Following the disgusting lie and Kimmel&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/18\/media\/ujimmy-kimmel-refused-to-apologize-after-charlie-kirk-outrage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported plans<\/a> to double down on attacking his conservative critics, Disney-owned ABC placed the host on indefinite suspension. The company reversed course several days later, although Nexstar and Sinclair &mdash; owners of numerous ABC affiliate stations &mdash; <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/09\/22\/sinclair-holds-firm-on-refusal-to-air-jimmy-kimmel-until-he-apologizes-to-charlie-kirks-family\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">have<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/09\/23\/66-abc-affiliates-wont-air-jimmy-kimmel-after-nexstar-holds-firm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> they will not broadcast <em>Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> until appropriate steps are taken to ensure such incidents don&rsquo;t happen again.<\/p>\n<p>Kimmel attempted to clean up his mess during his Tuesday return to the airways. Unsurprisingly, his crocodile-tear-filled ramblings <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/24\/us-news\/defiant-emotional-jimmy-kimmel-fails-to-apologize-for-charlie-kirk-comments-as-he-returns-to-abcs-airwaves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">didn&rsquo;t include<\/a> any real apology for his Kirk comments, but instead pushed a narrative of, &ldquo;<em>You<\/em> misunderstood me.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You understand that it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man. I don&rsquo;t think there&rsquo;s anything funny about it,&rdquo; Kimmel said. &ldquo;I understand that to some, that felt either ill-timed or unclear, or maybe both, and for those who think I did point a finger, I get why you&rsquo;re upset.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Yet, for all his <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/24\/us-news\/defiant-emotional-jimmy-kimmel-fails-to-apologize-for-charlie-kirk-comments-as-he-returns-to-abcs-airwaves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">supposed opposition<\/a> to political violence, Kimmel has remained mum on the latest attack on ICE in Texas. When pressed on whether he condemns this latest act of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >apparent left-wing violence<\/a> or plans to condemn it on his ABC program, Kimmel representatives did not respond to The Federalist&rsquo;s request for comment. <\/p>\n<p>As The Federalist&rsquo;s Brianna Lyman recently <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/09\/24\/after-gavin-newsom-targeted-ice-on-colbert-shooter-tries-to-murder-ice-agents-in-dallas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">noted<\/a>, unhinged leftist smears and attacks against ICE and efforts to deport illegal aliens violating U.S. immigration law are hardly new.<\/p>\n<p>A day before the aforementioned shooting at the Dallas ICE facility, for example, California Gov. Gavin Newsom appeared on Stephen Colbert&rsquo;s late-night show to demonize ICE agents. The Golden State Democrat claimed there are &ldquo;Masked men, jumping out of unmarked cars, people disappearing, no due process, no oversight, zero accountability.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;People ask: &lsquo;Well is &ldquo;authoritarianism&rdquo; here being hyperbolic?&rsquo; Bullsh-t we&rsquo;re being hyperbolic.
