Chan School of Public Health concluded that &ldquo;[a]ppropriate and immediate steps should be taken to advise pregnant women to limit acetaminophen consumption to protect their offspring&rsquo;s neurodevelopment.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Acetaminophen is the name of the active drug in Tylenol.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We recommend judicious acetaminophen use &mdash; lowest effective dose, shortest duration &mdash; under medical guidance, tailored to individual risk-benefit assessments, rather than a broad limitation,&rdquo; the study stated.<\/p>\n<p>The company that produces Tylenol wasn&rsquo;t happy with the administration&rsquo;s plans.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to Politico, a representative of Kenvue, the manufacturer of Tylenol and other drugs, denied any link between acetaminophen and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hero-jumps-fence-leaps-pool-save-age-4-boy-autism-drowning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">autism<\/a>. The statement said that discouraging pregnant women from using Tylenol could force them to rely on even riskier painkillers instead.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The facts are that over a decade of rigorous research, endorsed by leading medical professionals and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-truth-about-ivermectin\/\" title=\"The Truth About Ivermectin\">global health regulators<\/a>, confirms there is no credible evidence linking acetaminophen to autism,&rdquo; the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We stand with the many public health and medical professionals who have reviewed this science and agree. We will continue to explore all options to protect the health interests of American women and children.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/what-the-research-says-about-tylenol-and-autism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS News report<\/a> Monday, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists issued a statement arguing there is &ldquo;no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/raffensperger-sued-over-falsehoods-about-election-volunteer\/\" title=\"Raffensperger Sued Over Falsehoods About Election Volunteer\">clear evidence&#038;rdquo<\/a>; linking Tylenol to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/student-autism-writes-cover-letter-asking-employers-take-chance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">autism<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Neurodevelopmental disorders, in particular, are multifactorial and very difficult to associate with a singular cause,&rdquo; the statement said. &ldquo;Pregnant patients should not be frightened away from the many benefits of acetaminophen, which is safe and one of the few options pregnant people have for pain relief.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In dealing with the folate, or vitamin B9, element, the Trump administration reportedly intends to recommend the drug Leucovorin for folate deficiency.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Leucovorin &hellip; is chemically related to vitamin B9, or folate. It is prescribed to cancer patients going through chemotherapy,&rdquo; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/health\/healthcare\/rfk-jr-hhs-to-link-autism-to-tylenol-use-in-pregnancy-and-folate-deficiencies-e3acbb4c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Wall Street Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It is well-established that vitamin B9 helps the brain and spinal cord develop in the early embryo.
