She stood behind a podium that read, “May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving savior.”<\/p>\n

During the speech, she vowed, however, that his death wouldn&rsquo<\/a>;t be in vain.<\/p>\n

You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife; the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry. To everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die.”<\/p>\n
Kirk’s widow announced that the campus tour he was on would continue, as would his radio and podcast show.<\/p>\n
Earlier in her speech, Erika said that Charlie had thought about running for office. She said if he did, his top priority would be “to revive the American family.”<\/p>\n
Erika’s speech comes after Charlie’s alleged killer, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was caught on Friday. He allegedly shot and killed Charlie in front of a crowd of college students and fled.<\/p>\n
