The House Oversight Committee has received numerous documents from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, including a 2003 “Birthday Book” compiled for Epstein’s 50th birthday by Ghislaine Maxwell. This book contains a sexually suggestive note purportedly from president Donald Trump, which had previously been denied by Trump. The documents, provided in response to a subpoena issued by Committee Chairman James Comer, also include Epstein’s will, bank facts, a 2007 non-prosecution agreement, and contact book entries spanning nearly three decades. While the committee is reviewing the materials, House Oversight Democrats shared an image of the note on social media, sparking further controversy. The committee has broadened its investigation, issuing subpoenas to notable figures including former FBI directors and attorneys general. Recently,the committee released 33,000 pages of Department of Justice files related to Epstein,amid ongoing efforts<\/a> to fully disclose information about Epstein’s network and activities.
