I have confidence we&rsquo;re going to get it done,&rdquo; the president said, pointing to the peace deals he has brokered throughout his second term thus far.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Think of it, I got seven done, all of which were impossible to do,&rdquo; Trump said, before adding that he thought a deal in the Ukraine war would be the &ldquo;easiest&rdquo; to reach.<\/p>\n<p>It has been far from easy for Trump since he emerged as a mediator between the two sides following his return to the Oval Office.<\/p>\n<p>He has dealt with pressing needs from both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a potential deal, as well as Putin&rsquo;s continued attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure while negotiations play out.<\/p>\n<p>Trump managed to secure a summit with Putin in Alaska over the summer, their first in-person meeting together since 2019, which eventually led to a White House summit between Trump and multiple European leaders, including Zelensky.<\/p>\n<p>But the negotiations have lapsed as the next step would inevitably be a meeting between Putin and Zelensky, which the Kremlin seemingly skirted.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Putin suggested Moscow as the location for the peace talks, which was laughed off by Zelensky.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3787956\/trump-tiktok-deal-hostage-china-trade-talks-deadline-looms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TRUMP&rsquo;S TIKTOK DEAL &lsquo;HOSTAGE&rsquo; TO CHINA TRADE TALKS AS DEADLINE LOOMS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He [Putin] can come to Kyiv. &hellip; I can&rsquo;t go to Moscow when my country&rsquo;s under missiles, under attack, each day.
