DHS condemned the article as a &#8220;sob story&#8221; that overlooked the victims of etoria&#8217;s violent crimes, which include murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon. Although the Times highlighted etoria&#8217;s efforts to reform while in prison and depicted him as a victim of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jordan-slaps-mayorkas-with-subpoena-over-documents-on-catch-and-release-immigrants\/\" title=\"Jordan subpoenas Mayorkas for &#039;catch-and-...&#039; immigrant documents\">harsh immigration policies<\/a>, DHS questioned why the media fails to represent the victims of such crimes. Sixteen years later, this dangerous individual is finally off our streets and out of the country thanks to President Trump and Secretary Noem. It claimed he pursued academic degrees while in prison and got a job at a shelter after being granted parole.<\/p>\n<p>While serving a 25-year sentence for murder, Etoria was ordered deported by an immigration judge, the article reported. However, after his release in 2021, he was allowed to stay in the United States by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/scaros-biden-opens-immigration-door-illegal-entrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">illegal immigrant-friendly<\/a> Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>The article claimed Etoria had become a &ldquo;target&rdquo; of President Donald Trump&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trumps-aggressive-crackdown-illegal-immigration-saving-american-lives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crackdown on illegal immigration<\/a>. The authors lamented how he wasn&rsquo;t given access to an attorney after being deported to the southern African nation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/maryland-man-abrego-garcia-now-deported-country-likely-never-heard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eswatini<\/a> (a landlocked country formerly known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldatlas.com\/maps\/eswatini\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Swaziland<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>It quoted Etoria&rsquo;s aunt speaking about how &ldquo;inhumane&rdquo; his treatment was. Yet there were no quotes from the families of his victims. Why not?<\/p>\n<p>The newspaper couldn&rsquo;t completely ignore Etoria&rsquo;s violent past, however, and was forced to finally list his litany of violent behavior. But most of it discussed was near the end of the piece.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to &ldquo;fatally shooting a man in the head in Brooklyn in 1996&rdquo; and being convicted of murder, the article reported, Etoria &ldquo;has a history of drug abuse, which he has blamed in part on head injuries he suffered as a child. He was also diagnosed with schizophrenia. Doctors noted that he has exhibited violent outbursts, hallucinations and paranoia, according to court records.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>If that wasn&rsquo;t enough, he was reportedly &ldquo;arrested in 1981 on charges of attempted murder, robbery and kidnapping,&rdquo; according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;During a psychiatric evaluation, he said he could not remember exactly what happened, according to court records,&rdquo; the article stated. &ldquo;He pleaded guilty and served three years in prison. More than a decade later, Mr. Etoria walked into a leather goods shop and shot the victim three times in the head, according to Brooklyn court records.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The motive was never determined,&rdquo; it continued. &ldquo;And there was no indication that he knew the victim or that the crime was gang-related.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Etoria also claimed that &ldquo;he did not remember what happened because he was on drugs at the time and suffered hallucinations in the days leading up to the shooting.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Is this the kind of person the establishment media should be fighting for? Why on earth would any newspaper defend him rather than the victims?<\/p>\n<p>The nation needs more agencies like DHS, headed by former South Dakota Gov. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/cbs-news-changes-interview-policy-amid-backlash-kristi-noem-edits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kristi Noem<\/a>, to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >slam liberal establishment news outlets &#038;mdash<\/a>; like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nyt-interview-reveals-dem-comeback-scheme-shredded-constitution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a> &mdash; for their disgusting behavior. It&rsquo;s been going on for decades, and most Americans are sick of it.<\/p>\n<p>If someone who was close to the story&rsquo;s authors had been shot in the head by Etoria, they might feel differently. Instead, they curse law enforcement and weep for a mentally ill killer.<\/p>\n<p>Let this be a lesson to all those who would bring their children into the country illegally, cross the border without permission, or commit crimes here in America: The party is OVER.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/msnbc-analyst-robbed-multiple-times-dc-complains-trump-crackdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">establishment media<\/a> can&rsquo;t protect you. Democrats can&rsquo;t protect you.
