Pirro said.<\/p>\n<p>On June 30, Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, was shot to death in D.C., according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5dc.com\/news\/arrests-expected-be-announced-murder-capitol-hill-intern-eric-tarpinian-jachym\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WTTG-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Three suspects had exited a stolen car and started shooting at two young men on bicycles, according to a Friday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-dc\/pr\/us-marshals-tactical-k9-arrest-two-suspects-congressional-interns-murder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news release<\/a> from the U.S. Attorney&rsquo;s Office. The men on bikes were reportedly from an &ldquo;opposition neighborhood.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Although the bullets weren&rsquo;t meant for him, Tarpinian-Jachym was fatally hit. He later died at the hospital, according to WTTG-TV.<\/p>\n<p>A woman and her 16-year-old son were also hit but survived.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Eric was a good, smart Republican. We are grateful to Eric for his service to Kansas&rsquo; 4th District and the country,&rdquo; Estes said.<\/p>\n<p>Tarpinian-Jachym was a senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he was majoring in finance and minoring in political science, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/dc-md-va\/2025\/09\/05\/congressional-intern-shooting-suspects-arrested\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Washington Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Eric, you didn&rsquo;t die in vain,&rdquo; his mother, Tamara, said. &ldquo;If we would&rsquo;ve known the city was so dangerous, we wouldn&rsquo;t have let him go.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>But President Donald Trump&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/msnbc-analyst-robbed-multiple-times-dc-complains-trump-crackdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">D.C. crime crackdown<\/a> has given her hope, the Post reported.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Hope that my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hurricane-milton-marks-busy-hurricane-season-for-florida-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Hurricane Milton marks busy hurricane season for Florida - ...
