Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna of California are planning a news conference Wednesday morning to demand a House vote on a measure to force the Justice Department to release its files on the case of the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >late convicted sex criminal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And they&rsquo;re using the voices of victims to do it.<\/p>\n<p>Ten women who were abused by Epstein or Epstein associates will be on hand, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/khanna-massie-hold-news-conference-epstein-victims-people-going-outraged\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These victims haven&rsquo;t spoken for decades,&rdquo; In 2008, in return for a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/govt-officials-let-epstein-jail-daily-let-hang-mansion-young-women-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ludicrously lax sentence<\/a>, he pleaded guilty to state charges in Palm Beach County, Florida, to one count of soliciting prostitution and one count of soliciting prostitution from someone under 18.<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested in 2019 on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ghislaine-maxwell-pleads-not-guilty-to-federal-sex-trafficking-charges\/\" title=\"Ghislaine Maxwell pleads not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges\">federal sex trafficking charges<\/a>, but ended up dead in his cell New York City, officially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/patel-bongino-confirm-unthinkable-epstein-killed-know-suicide-see-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">classified as a suicide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For many Americans, especially on the political right, the Epstein story has been viewed as a case of Epstein&rsquo;s rich and powerful associates taking part in the sexual abuse of girls and getting away with it.<\/p>\n<p>For many on the left, it has become another weapon to smear the Trump administration.<\/p>\n<p>For President Donald Trump, the case has become a political headache, which he has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-goes-off-voters-want-epstein-answers-dont-want-support-anymore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">branded a &ldquo;hoax.&rdquo;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But even staunch supporters like retired Gen. Michael Flynn, Trump&rsquo;s first national security advisor in Trump&rsquo;s first term, have publicly called for more transparency.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It is NOT about Epstein or the left. It is about committing crimes against CHILDREN,&rdquo; Flynn wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gen-flynn-publishes-open-letter-trump-regarding-epstein-hesitated-write\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in an open letter<\/a> to Trump published to X on July 16.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;If he were part of an intel operation known or run by our CIA (shame on them) and those responsible MUST be held accountable. If there is another country involved, then shame on them as well.
