Pichon, has been charged with felony assault after allegedly spitting on two south carolina National Guard members in uniform outside Union Station in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred on August 22, and Pichon was arrested four days later. The National Guard members are part of a public safety mission in D.C. initiated by President Donald Trump, involving troops from several states to help address rising crime. Cruz: Obama-Biden DOJ was \u2018politicized and weaponized\u2019 against opponents\">federal law enforcement officer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The man was captured on video shouting at the officer before allegedly lobbing his sandwich at him and attempting to flee.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;So President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-announces-personally-patrol-dc-streets-law-enforcement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> has vowed to make D.C. safe and beautiful again.
