Bulletproof glass was later installed in Reid&rsquo;s office.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The team&rsquo;s practice facility is part of Kansas City&rsquo;s Truman Sports Complex, which includes GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&ldquo;Based on investigation to this point there is no indication this was a targeted incident at any person or organization,&rdquo; police said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/bullet-fired-into-andy-reid-chiefs-head-coach-office-11795000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">People<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The bullet that smashed through Reid&rsquo;s window ended up in a wall between the office&rsquo;s bathroom and its entry door, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kansascity.com\/sports\/nfl\/kansas-city-chiefs\/article311767668.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kansas City Star<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two other bullets hit the facility that day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One was fired into the third floor of the building, one floor above Reid&rsquo;s office; the other struck an outdoor air conditioning unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Star noted that the bullet landed &ldquo;roughly 15 feet from Reid&rsquo;s desk &mdash; the approximate distance between a 15-month well-kept secret and a stunning tragedy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kansas City Chiefs President Mark Donovan said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nfl-facing-backlash-game-changing-4th-quarter-call-chiefs-reach-3rd-straight-super-bowl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the team<\/a> did not want to  information related to security, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmbc.com\/article\/chiefs-president-mark-donovan-discusses-shooting-incident-practice-facility\/65865056\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KMBC-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&ldquo;When you think of this organization and what we do.
