\t\t\t\t}); \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>A majority of those polled supported Trump&rsquo;s overall handling of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-governor-declares-crime-emergency-s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crime<\/a> at 53 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Within the GOP, 88 percent of Republicans said they support the president&rsquo;s crime policies, while only 16 percent of Democrats said they back his approach.<\/p>\n<p>Trump was given record high marks on immigration at 44 percent, the economy with 43 percent, and the Ukraine war with 42 percent as well.<\/p>\n<p>The nationwide poll was conducted from August 21-25 using online and telephone interviews, with a total of 1,182 respondents. The margin of error was +\/- 3.8%.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s no surprise Trump is setting records.<\/p>\n<p>He&rsquo;s using common-sense measures to clean up lawless cities, enforcing immigration law, pushing for peace across the world, reining in rogue judges, and has triggered economic growth, along with record-high stock market numbers.<\/p>\n<p>The main reason Trump was re-elected is that he&rsquo;s willing to do what many career politicians won&rsquo;t: Bring back accountability.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has also been battling media outlets since his inauguration, which appears to be a popular strategy with the public.<\/p>\n<p>He&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/brian-stelter-mainstream-media-figures-panicking-trumps-deal-paramount\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">scored<\/a> multi-million settlements with ABC, CBS, and Meta, and he is in the midst of battling the Wall Street Journal over a story related to Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the very outlet that conducted this poll sued Trump after its reporters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/associated-press-pays-price-policy-gulf-america\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">were barred<\/a> from certain White House events, for refusing to recognize his name change from the &ldquo;Gulf of Mexico&rdquo; to &ldquo;Gulf of America.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>After several legal battles, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/appeals-court-upholds-ohio-law-banning-down-syndrome-abortions\/\" title=\"...peals Court Upholds Ohio Law Banning Down Syndrome Abortions\">appeals court upheld<\/a> the ruling restricting the AP, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/07\/22\/business\/media\/appeals-court-associated-press-restrictions-trump.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according<\/a> to The New York Times.
