The Social Security Governance (SSA) has rejected a whistleblower complaint alleging that officials from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) created an insecure cloud copy of Social Security data. The whistleblower report, released in August 2025, claims that this cloud habitat circumvents oversight and poses serious risks to the personal facts of over 300 million Americans.
