for any foreign national &ldquo;wherever there has been an appropriate determination that flag desecration by foreign nationals permits the exercise of those remedies under applicable law.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/26-foreigners-accused-heinous-crimes-americans-trump-brought-face-justice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> has long opposed flag burning.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You should get a one-year jail sentence if you do anything to desecrate the American flag,&rdquo; he said last year, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-independent.com\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/trump-flag-burning-order-speech-b2812026.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Now, people will say, &lsquo;Oh, it&rsquo;s unconstitutional.&rsquo; Those are stupid people. Those are stupid people that say that,&rdquo; he said then.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We have to work in Congress to get a one-year jail sentence.
