A video of Dunn yelling obscenities and throwing the sandwich went viral on social media. Dunn admitted to throwing the sandwich, which he reportedly thought was humorous. Though,U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro emphasized the seriousness of the charge, warning that Dunn faces up to eight years in prison and a notable fine if convicted. The felony charge stems from either physical contact or intent to commit another felony. I threw a sandwich.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Pirro said she believed Dunn thought the sandwich-hurling was funny.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He thought it was funny,&rdquo; she said. &ldquo;Well, he doesn&rsquo;t think it&rsquo;s funny today because we charged him with a felony: assault on a police officer.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Dunn could face up to 8 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,00 if he&rsquo;s convicted of felony assault on an officer. Trump has also deployed several federal agencies and the National Guard to police the district.<\/p>\n<p>The president says he will stick to sweeping up crime in D.C. beyond the 30-day deadline mandated by law.
