We don&rsquo;t have anything additional to add.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Acting Assistant Secretary for Lands and Minerals Management Adam Suess said in the release: &ldquo;This is a critical step in unleashing the full economic potential of our coal resources and delivering reliable, affordable energy to American families.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;President Trump made it clear that we will not tie up American energy in red tape,&rdquo; Suess said. &ldquo;Under his leadership, we&rsquo;re cutting delays, boosting production, and putting miners back to work.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The release said that the proceeding of coal leasing is in line with Trump&rsquo;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/presidential-actions\/2025\/04\/reinvigorating-americas-beautiful-clean-coal-industry-and-amending-executive-order-14241\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">executive order<\/a>&nbsp;&ldquo;Reinvigorating America&rsquo;s Beautiful Clean Coal Industry,&rdquo; according to the release.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of the Interior has made other changes in favor of American energy dominance recently, such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecentersquare.com\/national\/article_599d429b-b40f-4b96-a290-fd78ea263fdc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ending<\/a>&nbsp;preferential treatment for &ldquo;unreliable&rdquo;
