The slides described Moms for Liberty as an &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/un-compound-attacked-in-afghanistan\/\" title=\"UN compound attacked in Afghanistan\">anti-government extremist<\/a>&#8221; organization that opposes books addressing race and gender identity. \t\t\t\t}); \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>The training materials also said that Moms for Liberty opposes &ldquo;books that reference race and gender identity.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The group has indeed <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >mobilized conservative parents nationwide<\/a> to raise the alarm over heavily sexualized books, as well as those with leftist ideological themes.<\/p>\n<p>The training accused Moms for Liberty of purportedly using &ldquo;parents&rsquo; rights as a vehicle to attack public education and make schools less welcoming for minority and LGBTQ students.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Southern Poverty Law Center calls Moms for Liberty an &ldquo;anti-government extremist,&rdquo; a reality likewise cited by the training materials.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Moms for Liberty is here to show up at school board meetings, speak out against curriculum, failing schools, inappropriate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/levar-burton-kicks-off-national-book-awards-ceremony-suggesting-moms-liberty-violently-assaulted\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">books<\/a> maybe in your public school library,&rdquo; Tina Descovich, co-founder of Moms for Liberty, reacted to the designation of her group.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-low-antifa-targets-george-washingtons-mother-terrible-act\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antifa<\/a> is burning down whole cities and parts of cities and rioting in the streets,&rdquo; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These two are not equivalent.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Moms for Liberty secured copies of the training documents through a freedom of information request of the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We have to ask what is going on here in Massachusetts with these trainings to police officers,&rdquo; Descovich said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are not conducting ourselves in a way that police ever need to be concerned about the way we act,&rdquo; she continued.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;As a matter of fact, our chapter chair there in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, who is the one that brought all this to my attention, said she has local members of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/officials-launch-murder-probe-into-death-of-officer-following-d-c-protests\/\" title=\"Officials launch murder probe into death of officer following D.C. protests\">police force<\/a> come up to her all the time.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Please keep going.
