their sex.<\/p>\n<p>As the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/health\/article\/kaiser-gender-affirming-surgery-minors-20783219.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">San Francisco Chronicle<\/a> reported in July, California&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.definitivehc.com\/resources\/healthcare-insights\/top-largest-california-health-systems-number-beds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">largest health system<\/a>, Kaiser Permanente, along with Stanford Medicine and Children&rsquo;s Hospital Los Angeles, have announced they are cutting back or halting &ldquo;sex-change&rdquo; surgeries on patients under 19 in the face of pressure from the Trump administration.<\/p>\n<p>They&rsquo;re <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/childrens-national-hospital-end-gender-transition-treatments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not the only ones<\/a>. President Donald Trump&rsquo;s White House has been unapologetic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/promises-made-promises-kept-trump-admin-goes-hospitals-may-transitioned-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">about going after<\/a> institutions that use federal funds to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >perform surgeries decent human beings find abhorrent &#038;mdash<\/a>; very much including millions of taxpayers whose money is being used.<\/p>\n<p>The idea of halting the sexual mutilation of young people should be good news for every American, regardless of their political party. Barbarism masquerading as enlightenment is still barbaric under the surgical mask.<\/p>\n<p>But for Nancy Pelosi, &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a sad thing for us.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are hoping that we can have gender-affirming care for our trans kids,&rdquo; she said.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And it&rsquo;s something she&rsquo;s working on &ldquo;at the national level.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, thanks to the results of the November election, Pelosi and her fellow travelers on the left have precious little chance of accomplishing anything at the national level that would codify the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-signs-executive-order-banning-federal-funding-child-sex-changes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chemical and surgical castration<\/a> of young boys or the sterilization of girls in the service of progressive sexual politics.<\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump&rsquo;s election was the result of many issues, but there&rsquo;s no doubt that his unequivocal stance on the reality of biological sex <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jen-psaki-admits-democrats-wilderness-co-panelist-says-huge-fight-coming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was a winner<\/a> for him.<\/p>\n<p>Considering her party holds neither the legislative nor executive branch of government, where laws actually get made, what Pelosi can do at a &ldquo;national level&rdquo; in terms of lawmaking is approximately nothing. Considering her party will not hold power in the White House until at least 2029, what her party can do via regulation is actually nothing.<\/p>\n<p>And that is good news for the country, considering what Pelosi calls &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/instead-of-vetting-the-trans-industry-l-a-times-attacks-its-victims\/\" title=\"Instead Of Vetting The ... Industry, L.A.Times Attacks Its Victims\">gender-affirming care&#038;rdquo<\/a>; is actually the opposite.
