Federal investigators from the FBI&#8217;s Washington Field Office arrived around 6 a.m. and, during their attempt to make the arrest, the man jumped from the balcony. Authorities tried to resuscitate him but were unsuccessful. No details have been released about his identity or the charges he was facing. The Alexandria Police Chief confirmed there is no threat to the community, and the Virginia office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
