In February, Carville told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/politics\/its-over-james-carville-tells-dan-abrams-the-trump-white-house-will-suffer-a-massive-collapse-in-less-than-30-days\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mediaite&rsquo;<\/a>s Dan Abrams, &ldquo;I believe that this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-admin-announce-plan-win-second-space-race-building-nuclear-reactor-moon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">administration,<\/a> in less than 30 days, is in the midst of a massive collapse and particularly a collapse in public opinion.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Well, that obviously did not happen. he said, adding that redistricting needed to happen as well.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And they may have to expand the [Supreme] <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kim-davis-back-lgbt-crowd-terrified-county-clerk-heading-scotus-10-years-left-destroyed-traditional-marriage-stand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Court<\/a> to 13 members,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Although Carville said that while each of these proposals on their own wouldn&rsquo;t be good, doing them all together is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>His reason was one we typically here from Democrats in justifying any action against Trump:&nbsp;&ldquo;If you want to save democracy, I think you&rsquo;ve got to do all of those things,&rdquo; he concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Carville went from thinking the Trump administration was basically done in February to saying in his August remarks that Democrats are going to have to make radical changes in government to secure control.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, all of Carville&rsquo;s positions are predicated on Democrats regaining both the presidency and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/james-comer-warns-clintons-consequences-not-complying-congressional-subpoena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Congress<\/a> in 2028, a challenge in its own right.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats don&rsquo;t need to focus on court-packing or creating more states.
