According to reports, he authored a critical letter that was never sent.<\/p>\n<p>Following the election, Trump challenged the results, and GOP lawyers fanned out across the country to review the results. In Washington, thousands protested the congressional certification of Biden&rsquo;s victory, some violently, during the Jan. 6 protests.
