he continued. &ldquo;And we&rsquo;ll keep working with people and companies across this country to help write an extraordinary new chapter in the history of American innovation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Restoring manufacturing power in America is critical to the long-term stability of our economy. It also follows through on Trump&rsquo;s promise to bolster the middle class.<\/p>\n<p>His tariff strategy is proving to be the best path toward revamping our nation&rsquo;s industrial sector that we&rsquo;ve seen in years.<\/p>\n<p>Apple s were reportedly up nearly 3.6 percent Wednesday, the most in almost three months, according to Bloomberg.<\/p>\n<p>Though it isn&rsquo;t the full transference of production to the United States that Trump was hoping for, it&rsquo;s a start.<\/p>\n<p>The commander in chief had been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-trump-cracks-apple-threat-significant-punishment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">threatening<\/a> for months to impose heavy tariffs of as much as 25 percent if Apple didn&rsquo;t start producing the iPhone inside the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Around 20 percent of iPhones are assembled in India, a country that has yet to hammer out a trade deal with the White House.<\/p>\n<p>A Wednesday CNBC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/08\/06\/trump-trade-india-tariffs-russia.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> detailed how Trump hiked tariffs on India up to 50 percent &mdash; from the original 25 percent &mdash; via executive order for unspecified penalties over oil imports from Russia.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Apple, Trump has closed several other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/microsoft-activision-to-sell-streaming-rights-to-secure-biggest-video-gaming-deal\/\" title=\"Microsoft and Activision to sell streaming rights for major gaming deal.\">big tech deals<\/a> for billions of dollars. Back in April, NVIDIA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-wins-america-2-weeks-liberation-day-500-billion-manufacturing-investment-announced-foreign-company\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pledged<\/a> to produce $500 billion of AI infrastructure in the U.S. over four years, for the first time ever.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Trump made a deal with Japan that includes &ldquo;over $550 billion in a new Japanese\/USA investment vehicle and enhanced access for American exports.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This agreement marks a new chapter in bilateral cooperation &mdash; one that will unleash the full potential of the U.S. economy, strengthen vital supply chains, and support American workers, communities, and businesses for decades to come,&rdquo; a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/fact-sheets\/2025\/07\/fact-sheet-president-donald-j-trump-secures-unprecedented-u-s-japan-strategic-trade-and-investment-agreement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">White House statement<\/a> read.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention OpenAI, Oracle, and Softbank pledging to invest $500 billion in AI infrastructure over the next four years as well. The economy is humming.
