Perryman was slapped with a felony weapons charge and held without bail.<\/p>\n<p>The law-abiding 10-year NFL veteran was treated like a hardened criminal. Never mind the fact that none of those details tend to affect lethality.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oag.ca.gov\/ogvp\/fed-assault-weapons-ban\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to<\/a> the California Attorney General&rsquo;s Office, any semiautomatic rifle with a pistol grip, thumbhole stock, or flash suppressor might be banned.<\/p>\n<p>That&rsquo;s not safety, but blue-state nonsense that serves no other purpose than to keep good people disarmed.<\/p>\n<p>We have no idea how many automatic weapons are on the streets in Los Angeles, and neither do city leaders and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gavin-newsom-whines-federal-appeals-court-rules-unprecedented-ammunition-law-goes-far\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the people running the state<\/a>, since they&rsquo;re mostly open-borders advocates whose laws put Perryman in jail.<\/p>\n<p>The entire saga is absurd.<\/p>\n<p>When Chargers coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-pro-life-coach-jim-harbaugh-lands-huge-nfl-coaching-job\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jim Harbaugh<\/a> uses Perryman to blitz the quarterback this upcoming season, will that make the league veteran an &ldquo;assault linebacker?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of Harbaugh, being the national treasure he is, he visited Perryman in jail.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jim Harbaugh said he visited Denzel Perryman at the Inglewood jail yesterday.
