The court will likely block her removal, as it already indicated it would issue an injunction if the vote passed.<\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu did not participate in the vote to remove Baharav-Miara due to the apparent conflict of interest.<\/p>\n<p>The Netanyahu-led government has long criticized Baharav-Miara for exceeding her authority, accusing the attorney general of blocking its decisions, appointments, and legislation for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-82-of-likely-voters-oppose-political-prosecution-of-steve-bannon-james-okeefe\/\" title=\"Poll: 82% of Likely ...rs Oppose Political Prosecution of Steve Bannon, James O&#039;Keefe\">politically motivated reasons<\/a>. He was indicted in 2019 on charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust, all of which he denied.
