in light of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/columbia-protests-give-mike-johnson-chance-to-turn-page-on-ukraine-divisions\/\" title=\"Columbia Protests Offer Mike Johnson Opportunity for Unity after Ukraine Discord\">casualty-heavy war<\/a> that has created dire humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, <em>Reuters<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/us-links-19-billion-state-disaster-funds-israel-boycott-stance-2025-08-04\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">reported<\/a> Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;DHS will enforce all anti-discrimination laws and policies, including as it relates to the [Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions] movement, which is expressly grounded in antisemitism,&rdquo; a DHS spokesperson&nbsp;said in a statement to Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>The pot of funding under close watch is $1.9 billion meant to cover state and local costs of search and rescue equipment, emergency manager salaries, and back-up power systems in case of a natural disaster.<\/p>\n<p>The move is the White House&rsquo;s latest effort to crack down on states that support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, which grew in popularity following Hamas&rsquo; attack on Israel in October 2023. Following the attack, Israel invaded Gaza and has been at war for nearly two years.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3489064\/who-is-ice-arresting-data-66-percent-illegal-immigrants-criminals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">WHO IS ICE ARRESTING?
