he was stunned after being confronted and removed.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I didn&rsquo;t think there&rsquo;d be any issue with wearing that to the game,&rdquo; Weitzel said per the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/08\/03\/us-news\/diehard-soccer-fan-kicked-out-of-st-louis-stadium-for-wearing-maga-hat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;But with about 25 minutes left in the game, I was basically told they&rsquo;d received a complaint about my hat.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-receives-cheers-huge-ovation-at-alabama-georgia-game-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Trump receives cheers, huge ovation at Alabama-Georgia ... - Washington Examiner\">stadium&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s Fan Code of Conduct prohibits political signs, images, flags or banners unless pre-approved.<\/p>\n<p>Weitzel was told to either take the hat to his car, hide it, or leave.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not gonna take my hat off for anybody,&rdquo; he said on the show. &ldquo;I live in America, which is the land of the free and the home of the brave, I thought. So you do what you have to do.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In the footage, Weitzel can be heard saying, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m being threatened with arrest.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>An officer escorting him out told Weitzel that he supported President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fighter-jets-intercept-plane-infringes-trumps-airspace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donald Trump<\/a>, too, but said he was just enforcing stadium rules.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He gets it. He&rsquo;s just following the rules,&rdquo; Weitzel said in the video.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This is the stadium&rsquo;s rules here.
