Pirro had been serving in this role on an interim basis since May. Attorney General Pam Bondi praised the confirmation, calling Pirro a &#8220;warrior for law and order,&#8221; while Pirro herself thanked supporting senators and promised to be a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >real crime fighter<\/a>.&#8221; the confirmation sparked strong criticism from Democrats, who accused Pirro of spreading misinformation and being unfit for the position. Adam. Schiff of California <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SenAdamSchiff\/status\/1951806556426957152\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> on X. &ldquo;How can they vote to confirm these people?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois voiced a similar compliant.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Jeanine Pirro should never be a permanent U.S. Attorney. She endorsed the firing of January 6 prosecutors. She recklessly spread the Big Lie to the point her *own producers* had to tell her to cool it,&rdquo;&nbsp; he <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SenatorDurbin\/status\/1951799343109075153\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>. &ldquo;Ultimately, she&rsquo;s a rubber stamp for Donald Trump.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the left&rsquo;s complaints. Pirro&rsquo;s experience appears to run deep.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Pirro previously served as the District Attorney in Westchester County, New York, for over a decade,&rdquo; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/pirro-confirmed-d-c-u-s-attorney-amid-partisan-clash-dem-nominee-blockade-continues\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>. &ldquo;Prior to that, she was on the bench as a judge in Westchester County in the early 1990s.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Jeanine is incredibly well-qualified for this position and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York,&rdquo; President Donald Trump said when he nominated her in May. &ldquo;She is in a class by herself.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Her confirmation came after a few hiccups, including outbursts from seemingly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/crickets-j6-fanatics-anti-trump-protesters-breach-barricades-rush-us-capitol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deranged protesters<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">HAPPENING NOW: A protester interrupts Jeanine Pirro&rsquo;s confirmation hearing: &ldquo;We don&rsquo;t want the shame and scandal that Pirro has brought Westchester County.
