I&rsquo;m a husband&hellip; you really can&rsquo;t get better at leadership and integrity than having to raise a family. And the Republican Party does do that very well.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Many men in Third Way&rsquo;s focus groups pointed to affordability and the ability to support a family as major influences on their vote. Third Way said the men in their study tended to be less focused on ideology, low-propensity voters, and less likely to consume political news.<\/p>\n<p>Third Way is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thirdway.org\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">self-described<\/a> center-left think tank widely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/blogs\/on-congress\/2011\/02\/third-way-picks-up-3-new-senate-co-chairs-033371\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">associated<\/a> with the Democratic Party&rsquo;s moderate wing.<\/p>\n<p>Lucas Holtz, a political analyst at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/desperate-democrats-pouring-millions-fixing-major-party-problem-will-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">think tank<\/a>, wrote that the findings of its focus groups &ldquo;should give pause to anyone who wants to beat back the MAGA forces.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Democrats launched the $20 million project Speaking with American Men (SAM) in the aftermath of the election to learn how to regain the male electorate.
