The postponement follows a request from Maxwell&#8217;s attorneys, pending the Supreme Court&#8217;s decision on her appeal regarding her 2021 sex trafficking conviction. The appeal challenges whether Epstein&#8217;s earlier non-prosecution agreement from the 2000s bars her conviction. Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer agreed to delay the testimony until the Supreme Court rules, expected around October. Maxwell&#8217;s legal team had requested congressional immunity, advance access to questions, and a relocation of the testimony outside prison; all these demands where rejected by Comer. (AP Photo\/Ben Curtis)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&ldquo;Your testimony is vital to the Committee&rsquo;s efforts regarding Mr. Jeffrey Epstein, including the 2007 non-prosecution agreement and the circumstances surrounding Mr. Epstein&rsquo;s death,&rdquo; Comer wrote, but said the committee would wait for the justices to weigh in.<\/p>\n<p>The move comes just days after Maxwell&rsquo;s attorneys <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3485222\/ghislaine-maxwell-epstein-house-testimony-advance-questions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">submitted a list of demands<\/a> in exchange for her cooperation, including&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/congress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">congressional immunity<\/a>, an advance look at questions, and a relocation of the interview outside of prison. Comer flatly rejected these requests.<\/p>\n<p>In his response Friday, Comer said the committee was &ldquo;willing to continue to engage in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-faces-first-main-foreign-policy-test-within-georgia\/\" title=\"Biden Faces First Main Foreign Policy Test within Georgia\">good faith negotiations<\/a>,&rdquo; but denied immunity and declined to provide her legal team with questions in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell, who was transferred&nbsp;this week to the minimum security Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas without explanation by the government, is appealing her 2021 sex trafficking conviction on the basis that it was barred by Epstein&rsquo;s earlier plea deal in the 2000s.<\/p>\n<p>She was previously housed in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ghislaine-maxwell-moved-to-low-security-florida-prison\/\" title=\"...
