Near His  Million Mansion\">opposes affordable housing<\/a> and believed the order had pragmatic elements to it, according to the San Jose Spotlight.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Many California locals have also gone on X to express their support for the order, stating homelessness in California is still rising despite the the state&rsquo;s increase in homelessness funding.<\/p>\n<p>Newsom believes the order is focused on creating distracting headlines and settling old scores than producing any positive impact, according to a statement that the Governor&rsquo;s Office sent The Center Square. Newsom added his policies have contributed to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/niger-heads-to-polls-in-search-of-first-democratic-transition\/\" title=\"Niger heads to polls in search of first democratic transition\">slowed growth<\/a> of homelessness in California with the state outperforming the nation in reducing homelessness.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/3482359\/end-of-homeless-industrial-complex\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">THE END OF THE HOMELESS INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Other state Democratic politicians agree with Newsom, claiming the order is harmful.<\/p>\n<p>Los Angeles City Councilmember Ysabel Jurado said the order was &ldquo;an attack on our most vulnerable,&rdquo; in a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/cd14losangeles\/status\/1948555081080864911\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">post<\/a>&nbsp;on X.
