It appears Trump is spreading the love all around.<\/p>\n<p>It&rsquo;s also noteworthy that back in April, Dimon wrote in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpmorganchase.com\/ir\/annual-report\/2024\/ar-ceo-letters#section-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">memo<\/a> to holders that: &ldquo;The recent tariffs will likely increase inflation and are causing many to consider a greater probability of a recession. And even with the recent decline in market values, prices remain relatively high.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>He added, &ldquo;Whatever you think of the legitimate reasons for the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >newly announced tariffs &#038;mdash<\/a>; and, of course, there are some &mdash; or the long-term effect, good or bad, there are likely to be important short-term effects. As for the short-term, we are likely to see inflationary outcomes, not only on imported goods but on domestic prices, as input costs rise and demand increases on domestic products &hellip;&nbsp; Whether or not the menu of tariffs causes a recession remains in question, but it will slow down growth.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>That isn&rsquo;t the case anymore. In fact, it might never have been the case.<\/p>\n<p>The recent GDP numbers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/scott-jennings-torches-cnn-panel-rooting-america-spite-trump-brought-receipts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">showed growth<\/a> for the second fiscal quarter at 3 percent, which most of the media painted as a massive win for the White House.<\/p>\n<p>Like so many before him, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jpmorgan-ceo-dem-donor-jamie-dimon-slams-biden-now-bidenomics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dimon<\/a> had to admit Trump is doing a good job and helping to create wealth &mdash; and stability &mdash; for the entire nation.<\/p>\n<p>The media was forced to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trumps-eu-trade-deal-tremendous-american-media-outlets-criticizing-good\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cover it<\/a>.
