The aircraft,an Airbus A330-900,was forced to make an emergency landing at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, where medical personnel met the flight. Twenty-five people were hospitalized following the incident, with some passengers seriously injured from being thrown against the cabin interior and a service cart also causing injuries. Passengers reported no prior warning before the turbulence struck multiple times and praised the calm and professional response of the flight attendants. It was a very abrupt, hard hit,&rdquo; Nash said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;If you didn&rsquo;t have your seat belt on &mdash; everyone that didn&rsquo;t &mdash; they hit the ceiling, and then they fell to the ground, and the carts also hit the ceiling and fell to the ground, and people were injured, and it happened several times, so it was really scary.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;There were glass bottles flying around.
