There are no additional affected personnel,&rdquo; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation\/2025\/07\/31\/f-35-fighter-jet-crashes-california\/85452622007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USA Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With the pilot safe, the conversation can pivot to another topic: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ouch-elon-complained-300m-spent-help-trump-new-party-just-cost-225x\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cost<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gao.gov\/blog\/f-35-will-now-exceed-2-trillion-military-plans-fly-it-less\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. Government Accountability Office<\/a>, the F-35 weapons program is expected to cost a staggering $2 trillion dollars over the next several decades.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thepricer.org\/how-much-does-an-f-35-jet-cost\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Pricer<\/a> puts an individual jet&rsquo;s price tag above $100 million.<\/p>\n<p>Those totals are going to make a lot of Americans demand an explanation for why they&rsquo;re seeing these jets crash.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.military.com\/daily-news\/2024\/05\/29\/f-35-crashes-outside-of-albuquerque-airport-pilot-serious-condition.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Military.com<\/a> documented a series of F-35 crashes prior to Wednesday, showing a troubling pattern.<\/p>\n<p>On May 28, 2024, an F-35 crashed near Albuquerque, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/classified-military-lab-new-mexico-next-40-percent-market-crash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Mexico<\/a>, with the pilot ejecting, too. Another pilot ejected in September 2023 during an F-35 crash in South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2022, an F-35 crash occurred on the runway of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Following that crash, a &ldquo;rare system phenomenon&rdquo; was found in the engine used, the F135.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, there is not an official pattern established among all of these crashes.
