Even if CNN <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/cnn-accused-purposely-lying-manhattan-shooter-almost-like-agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sometimes does<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Consumer confidence climbed two points this month to a reading of 97.2, the Conference Board said Tuesday,&rdquo; the story continued. &ldquo;Showing people&rsquo;s attitudes about the economy have stabilized after deteriorating sharply during the spring when Trump unveiled massive tariffs.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>If that wasn&rsquo;t enough, CNN also reported that inflation has &ldquo;remained somewhat tame&rdquo; and that very few industries have seen price increases.<\/p>\n<p>This is a far cry from CNN narratives that claimed Trump was &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/07\/08\/business\/trump-tariffs-market-inflation-jobs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">playing with fire<\/a>,&rdquo; regarding tariffs, or how a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/03\/12\/economy\/us-cpi-consumer-inflation-february\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trade war<\/a>&rdquo; was looming.<\/p>\n<p>Headlines like &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/04\/25\/business\/trump-tariff-pain-customers-nightcap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Not feeling the trade war pain yet? Get ready,<\/a>&rdquo; or &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/05\/23\/investing\/dow-stock-market-tariffs-trade-war\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stocks, dollar stumble after Trump reignites trade war<\/a>,&rdquo; seem shortsighted &mdash; and foolish &mdash; in retrospect.<\/p>\n<p>Now, they&rsquo;re jumping on the bandwagon to deliver the good news? Please.<\/p>\n<p>Anytime Trump makes progress on a major agenda item, outlets like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-even-cnn-forced-admit-modern-democratic-party-anti-israel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> attempt to scare the public into revolting.<\/p>\n<p>They paint his position as radical and get their mainstream media friends to launch similar talking points, as if they&rsquo;re all singing in a choir on cue.<\/p>\n<p>Yet again Trump has made the right choice from a position of strength and confidence, despite the media&rsquo;s constant attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Even Gerry Baker, the editor-at-large of The Wall Street Journal &mdash; an outlet Trump is currently suing for defamation &mdash; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RapidResponse47\/status\/1949965125449875598?%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1949965125449875598%7Ctwgr%5Ea3db10ca89908fabb1d248e8a7ff7a38e5b8a17b%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.westernjournal.com%2Ftrumps-eu-trade-deal-tremendous-american-media-outlets-criticizing-good%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gave his approval<\/a> to the massive trade deal with the E.U.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Trump is challenging the theory that tariffs are terrible for the global economy,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;The economy&rsquo;s growing. Inflation is stable. The stock market is booming.
