Two other whisteblowers also surfaced to back the criticisms, Fox reported.<\/p>\n<p>Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/newly-declassified-grassley-doc-obama-pulled-version-watergate-nearly-identical-smoking-gun-disaster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chuck Grassley<\/a> said the claims were overblown.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Even if you accept most of the claims as true, there&rsquo;s no scandal,&rdquo; the Iowa Republican said. &ldquo;Government lawyers aggressively litigating and interpreting court orders isn&rsquo;t misconduct &mdash; it&rsquo;s what lawyers do.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I support the nomination of Mr. Bove. He has a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >strong legal background<\/a> and has served this country honorably. I believe he will be diligent, capable and a fair jurist,&rdquo; Grassley said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/senate-confirms-trump-nominee-emil-bove-appeals-court-whistleblowers-rcna221781\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Grassley said Democrats used &ldquo;vicious rhetoric, unfair accusation and abuse directed at Mr. Bove&rdquo; and claimed that Democratic tactics &ldquo;crossed the line.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Those tactics included a walkout by Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats at a recent hearing, per Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>As noted by NBC News, Senate Minority Leader <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/depraved-lie-white-house-fires-back-schumer-dems-push-disgusting-smears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chuck Schumer<\/a> of New York said Bove&rsquo;s loyalty to Trump was unforgivable.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He is a Trumpian henchman &mdash; the extreme of the extreme of the extreme. He is openly hostile to the rule of law. He is fundamentally opposed to democratic norms. He lacks the temperament to serve as a jurist,&rdquo; Schumer said. &ldquo;And above all, Mr. Bove is religiously obedient to Donald Trump.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Bove has pushed back against the criticism.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I am not anybody&rsquo;s henchman.
