obtained by The Hill &mdash; also seeks a full investigation into the judge.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Judge Boasberg&rsquo;s actions have harmed the integrity and public confidence in the integrity of the judiciary,&rdquo; \t\t\t\t}); \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the Federalist <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/07\/16\/exclusive-memo-reveals-d-c-judges-are-predisposed-against-trump-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>&nbsp;that Boasberg was worried &ldquo;the Administration would disregard rulings of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/memo-reveals-d-c-judges-predisposed-against-trump-admin\/\" title=\"Memo Reveals D.C. ...s Predisposed Against Trump Admin\">federal courts leading<\/a> to a constitutional crisis.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Reuters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/legal\/government\/trump-administration-files-misconduct-complaint-against-prominent-judge-boasberg-2025-07-28\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that he also expressed this sentiment to Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.<\/p>\n<p>The Justice Department&rsquo;s complaint says Boasberg &mdash; an Obama appointee &mdash; violated his ethical obligations &ldquo;to promote public confidence in the integrity of the judiciary and refrain from public comments about matters pending in any court.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Today at my direction, @TheJusticeDept filed a misconduct complaint against U.S. District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/doj-files-complaint-against-judge-boasberg-for-undermining-judiciary\/\" title=\"... files complaint against ... Boasberg for undermining judiciary\">making improper public comments<\/a> about President Trump and his Administration,&rdquo; Attorney General Pam Bondi <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AGPamBondi\/status\/1949974166205034753\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> on the social media site X.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These comments have undermined the integrity of the judiciary, and we will not stand for that,&rdquo; she added.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Today at my direction, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheJusticeDept?\">@TheJusticeDept<\/a> filed a misconduct complaint against U.S. District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg for making improper public comments about President Trump and his Administration.<\/p>\n<p>These comments have undermined the integrity of the judiciary, and we will&hellip;<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Attorney General Pamela Bondi (@AGPamBondi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AGPamBondi\/status\/1949974166205034753?\">July 28, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The complaint was sent to Sri Srinivasan, the chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. circuit, according to the Hill.<\/p>\n<p>Srinivasan can dismiss the complaint, if he wishes, or he can reportedly appoint a committee to pursue further disciplinary action.<\/p>\n<p>It was only days after the conference in question that Boasberg was assigned the Alien Enemies Act immigration case, in which Trump sought to deport Venezuelan gang members to El Salvador.<\/p>\n<p>He drew the president&rsquo;s ire after <a href=\"https:\/\/ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov\/cgi-bin\/show_public_doc?2025cv0766-148\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ruling that<\/a> the administration&rsquo;s actions were illegal.<\/p>\n<p>The Hill reported that Boasberg later accused the Trump administration of violating his ruling and said there was cause to find them in &ldquo;criminal contempt,&rdquo; but an appeals court has halted the process.<\/p>\n<p>In the complaint letter, the DOJ want&rsquo;s Boasberg taken off the case until an investigation is complete. If he&rsquo;s found to have committed misconduct, they want him impeached.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Swift, visible action will reinforce the judiciary&rsquo;s institutional integrity by showing that judges are held to the same standards they enforce and deter comparable misconduct,&rdquo; Mizelle wrote.<\/p>\n<p>If Boasberg is actually going around expressing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/second-court-ignores-landmark-scotus-ruling-issues-nationwide-injunction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">partisan political stance<\/a> &mdash; while also claiming to be a fair legal arbiter &mdash; then he should face reprimand, and be considered for impeachment.<\/p>\n<p>Outward bias like that has no place in a court of law.<\/p>\n<p>We&rsquo;ve been told by countless legal scholars in black robes that they signify a sane, reasonable remedy to balance out the America&rsquo;s political halls of power.<\/p>\n<p>Yet if you can&rsquo;t even control yourself from publicly spouting liberal talking points to your colleagues, how can you ever issue a fair and impartial ruling?
