<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kellyanne-conway-says-democrats-big-dilemma-trump-trade-tariff-success-stories-emerge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trade<\/a> policy.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2025\/jun\/30\/trump-tariffs-earned-815-billion-new-money-dhs-says\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Times<\/a> reported last month that the federal government had collected more than $106 billion in tariff revenue since Trump took office.<\/p>\n<p>According to the outlet, $81.5 billion of that revenue stems from new tariffs placed on imported goods during Trump&rsquo;s second term.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Homeland Security called the numbers evidence of the president&rsquo;s trade strategy in action.<\/p>\n<p>Trump previously previewed the data during a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They have so much money coming in,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>He described a phone call with a senior official who said the federal ledger was &ldquo;a mess&rdquo; due to unusually high revenues.<\/p>\n<p>Trump said he instructed the official to check the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bbc-blames-trump-tariffs-automaker-jaguar-cuts-jobs-completely-ignores-woke-ad-campaign-backlash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tariffs<\/a> column.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He calls me back two hours later and says, &lsquo;You&rsquo;re right,&rsquo;&rdquo;
