Then, compare it to the details of the intelligence community&rsquo;s new assessment proposal <em>one day later<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/obama-officials-spiked-intel-that-cleared-trump-in-2016-records-show-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"... officials spiked intel that cleared Trump in 2016, records show - Washington Examiner\">conducting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/us-sanctions-iran-intelligence-over-albania-cyberattack\/\" title=\"US Sanctions Iran Intelligence Over Albania Cyberattack\">malicious cyber activities<\/a><\/a> against election infrastructure,&rdquo; the Dec. 8 presidential briefing read.<\/p>\n<p>That document, however, was never published.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, acting on &ldquo;new guidance,&rdquo; and following a meeting in the White House Situation Room the next day, Dec. 9, 2016, senior <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-says-documents-show-obama-committed-treason-not-question\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Obama<\/a> administration officials set about crafting the story the president apparently wanted.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, the new proposal asked, &ldquo;How did Moscow seek to influence the US presidential election in 2016? What tools did they use?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Then, the proposal listed &ldquo;hacking&rdquo; as the first tool.<\/p>\n<p>The previous day&rsquo;s presidential briefing, however, had concluded that Russians committed no such meaningful &ldquo;malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Rarely does one find such red-hot smoking guns as proof of ordinary wrongdoing, let alone what&rsquo;s been termed a treasonous conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, aside from the dishonesty, one marvels most at the brazenness of it. Obama and his senior officials appear to have had such confidence in their control of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/found-gabbard-reportedly-fires-officials-deep-state-notice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deep state<\/a> that they left a digital trail. No one, they imagined, would ever uncover and expose them.<\/p>\n<p>Then, along came Gabbard, a former Democrat who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/tulsi-gabbard-announces-leaving-democratic-party-biden-finally-goes-far\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">left the party<\/a> because of behavior like this.
