On January 23, Trump emphasized the need for openness and truth, calling for the immediate release of all related records. Gabbard made public 230,000 pages of previously undisclosed FBI files concerning Dr. King&#8217;s 1968 assassination,which had never been digitized and had been stored for decades.<\/p>\n<p>The released documents include information about James Earl Ray, the man convicted of King&#8217;s assassination.
