Kennedy, and Robert F. Kennedy. The documents include internal FBI memos,data about James earl Ray-King&#8217;s convicted assassin-and new foreign intelligence from Canadian authorities and the CIA regarding the global manhunt for Ray. The record points to Ray as the lone assassin, but there has been speculation over the years that the killer was involved in a conspiracy.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">This April 3, 1968, file photo shows Rev. He admitted guilt in 1969 and was sentenced to 99 years in prison.
